Basic recipe on how to make natural Castile liquid soap:

1. Add fragrance oils (up to 0.3%) to a bottle of Organic Castile Soap Base.
2. Close the package and stir vigorously.
3. Ready! Use :)

How to thicken soap

Prepare a solution of water and salt brine (a mixture of soft or boiled warm water and salt) in a separate vessel. Mix thoroughly until the salt is completely dissolved. Allow to cool.

After adding all the soap enrichment additives (essential oils, dyes, etc.), add a small amount of the previously prepared brine. It is best to add a teaspoon at a time and stir for a while. If the soap is not thick enough, add another teaspoon of solution. Keep adding brine until the soap is thick enough for you.

Remember ! Always add the brine at the end of the soap composing process. Some essential oils cause the soap base to thicken while others cause the base to become thinner such as orange.
