Technical Information & Usage Guidelines

Watermelon honey fragrance oil is a highly concentrated fragrance suitable for home fragrance products, soaps and selected cosmetic applications. It delivers excellent performance in candles, wax melts, room sprays, air fresheners and diffusers while maintaining its fresh, fruity, green and softly sweet character.

• Recommended for candles, wax melts, room sprays, air fresheners, diffusers, soaps, shampoos, shower products, perfumes, body lotions, hand creams, face creams and other cosmetic applications, subject to the applicable IFRA limits for the intended product category.
• For candles and wax melts, a fragrance concentration of approximately 3 to 10% is generally recommended, depending on the wax type, formulation and desired fragrance intensity.
• For diffusers, a fragrance concentration of approximately 5 to 10% is generally recommended, depending on the base used and desired fragrance intensity. The applicable IFRA Category 10A maximum for this fragrance is 10.38%.
• For room sprays, a fragrance concentration of approximately 1 to 10% is generally recommended, depending on the formulation and desired fragrance intensity. The applicable IFRA Category 10B maximum for this fragrance is 32.48%.
• For soaps, shampoos, shower products and other rinse off applications, always follow the maximum usage level specified for the applicable IFRA category. The Category 9 maximum for this fragrance is 10.38%.
• For perfumes, body lotions, hand creams, face creams and other leave on cosmetic products, always follow the maximum usage level specified in the applicable IFRA Certificate for the intended product category.
• For best results in candles, add the fragrance at approximately 60 to 70 °C, mix thoroughly and allow the finished candles to cure before burning.
• Compatibility, stability and performance testing under your own manufacturing conditions is recommended before large scale production.

• Suitable for both hobby and professional use when used according to the applicable IFRA guidelines.
• Always follow the maximum usage level specified in the applicable IFRA Certificate for your product category.
• Do not apply undiluted fragrance oil directly to the skin.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• Avoid contact with eyes and sensitive areas.
• If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
• Store tightly closed in a cool, dry and well ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight, heat sources and significant temperature fluctuations.
• Wear suitable protective gloves and eye protection when handling concentrated fragrance oil.
• Always evaluate the stability, compatibility, performance and safety of the finished product before commercial production or sale.
