Lagoon color gives glycerin soaps and other water-based cosmetic products a unique, fresh, and calming blue-green shade reminiscent of an exotic lagoon. This dye is non-migrating, meaning colors do not mix and maintain clear boundaries. It is highly effective – just a few drops provide an intense and long-lasting hue.

The manufacturer recommends using 1 ml of dye per 1 kg of glycerin base. To check the ideal amount, wash your hands with soap – if the color remains on your hands, reduce the dosage.

This dye is designed only for water-based products and is not suitable for candles or wax products. Thanks to its PET bottle with a dropper, dosing and storage are easy.

Here are some tips to help you color your glycerin soap:

  • Choose the right dye - choose dyes that are designed for colouring glycerine soap, as other types of dyes may not work in the same way and may damage the texture of the soap.
  • Add the colouring to the melted soap mass just before pouring it into the mould. Stir the soap gently and slowly, otherwise air bubbles may form and the clarity of the soap may be reduced.
  • Use the right amount of colouring - remember that colouring should normally be used less than in greasy soaps, as the colouring is more visible in glycerine soaps.
  • Experiment with colours - try different combinations of colours to get the desired effect. Glycerine soaps can be coloured in different ways, for example in solid colours or in stripes, curves.

Glycerine soap is easy to colour, but it does take some practice and experimentation. It is important to use dyes specifically designed for glycerine soap and not to overdo the amount of dye used.
