Technical information and usage guidelines

Raspberry fragrance oil is a highly concentrated fragrance oil intended for home fragrance products, soaps and various cosmetic products. It is suitable for use in candles, wax melts, room sprays, air fresheners and diffusers, as well as cosmetic formulations, subject to the applicable IFRA limits for the relevant final product category.

• Recommended for candles, wax melts, room sprays, air fresheners, diffusers, soaps, shampoos, shower products, perfumes, body lotions, hand creams, face creams and other cosmetic products, subject to the applicable IFRA limits for the relevant product category.
• For candles and wax melts, approximately 3 to 10% fragrance oil is generally recommended, depending on the type of wax, formulation and desired fragrance intensity.
• For diffusers, approximately 15 to 25% fragrance oil is generally recommended, depending on the base, compatibility and desired fragrance intensity. The applicable IFRA Category 10A maximum level for this fragrance is 31.88%.
• For room sprays, approximately 1 to 10% fragrance oil is generally recommended, depending on the formulation and desired fragrance intensity. No maximum concentration restriction is specified for this fragrance under IFRA Category 10B.
• For soaps, shampoos, shower products and other rinse off products, always observe the maximum use level for the applicable IFRA category. The IFRA Category 9 maximum level for this fragrance is 31.88%.
• For perfumes, body lotions, hand creams, face creams and other leave on cosmetic products, always observe the maximum use level stated in the applicable IFRA certificate for the relevant final product category.
• For best results in candles, add the fragrance oil at approximately 60 to 70 °C, mix thoroughly and allow the finished candles to cure before burning.
• Before larger scale production, compatibility, stability and fragrance performance testing in the specific base and production conditions is recommended.

Safety guidelines

• Intended for use as a fragrance ingredient in home fragrance, household and cosmetic products. Not intended for use in food or for direct consumption.
• Always observe the maximum use level stated in the applicable IFRA certificate for your final product category.
• Do not apply undiluted fragrance oil directly to the skin. The concentrate may cause skin irritation and an allergic skin reaction.
• Avoid prolonged or excessive inhalation of concentrated fragrance oil and use in a well ventilated area.
• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. The concentrate may cause serious eye damage. If on skin, wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or a rash occurs, seek medical advice.
• When handling concentrated fragrance oil, wear suitable chemical resistant protective gloves and eye protection.
• Store tightly closed in the original container in a dry, cool and well ventilated place at 0 to 30 °C. Protect from direct sunlight, freezing, heat, sparks and open flames.
• Do not allow concentrated fragrance oil to enter drains, waterways or the environment. The product is toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.
